JOB DESCRIPTION :
Norden Cricket Club, a member of the Lancashire League, is offering an exciting opportunity for a (minimum) Level 2 coach to head up its thriving Junior section. Reporting to the Chair of the Cricket Committee, the coach will be responsible for:
- Planning and co-ordinating junior training sessions including winter nets (Mondays – U13 and U15 / Fridays – U9 and U11 from January – March) and summer training sessions (Friday evenings from April – August.)
- Supervise volunteer coaches at all age groups providing guidance and lesson plans where appropriate
- Attend a selection of Junior matches to witness and support the progress of Junior players in match situations.
- Support the transition of Juniors into Senior cricket by liaising with the 3rd Team captain and Chairman of selectors to recommend Juniors for Senior teams.
The role is for 100-125 hours – competitive salary.
