Sami and Teeno pave way to win

Sami Waheed and Teeno Saeed destroyed the Rochdale innings in the final second team match of the season at Stag Park on Saturday.
Sami was first to strike when he bowled Safi Khan for two, then Teeno had Denham caught behind by James O’Neill.
Kafeel Ali was caught by Rob Greenwood off Sami’s bowling, Mahmood was caught by the returned Dean Lord to provide Beamer with a wicket, and Sean Benson was caught behind to make it 28 for five.
Lord took another catch to dismiss Latif, and then picked up a wicket himself when he trapped Andy Harrison leg before.
The fact that Rochdale managed to reach 83 was down to a stubborn knock from Ahmed who faced 76 deliveries for his battling 25.
Sami Waheed ended with figures of five for 11, and that included five wides.
Teeno Saeed took three for 29 in 12 overs.
It promised to be n easy task for Norden. Not so.
Poscha, bowling with a deal of pace, bowled Beamer and Lord without a run in the reply.
Wickets continued to fall, with Benson bowling superbly from the Woodhouse Lane end before a late scoring burst spoiled his figures somewhat.
At 32 for six, then 55 for seven Norden looked done for.
But they didn’t lose another wicket as Mo Waheed took 11 off one over to finish unbeaten on 14, and “Boom Boom” James O’Neill found the boundaries to score an unbeaten 23.
